Parenting and Baby Groups

Come join other parents and bring your baby along!  Together, we’ll tune into what the babies teach us about:

  • Learning at different stages of development
  • Motor development as the foundation for social, emotional and intellectual growth
  • The driving forces behind learning
  • The role of safety and comfort in attachment
  • Social communication styles
  • What their needs are at different stages

These groups offer an opportunity to meet other families, share questions and experiences, gain insight from witnessing other families, and enjoy the support of other parents.

Testimonials:

“We loved spending time in Lorni’s group! My daughter, who has low tone and is delayed in her gross motor development, was twelve months old when we started with Lorni. Lorni worked with us to find ways to help her build strength and overcome her aversions to movement….all in ways that put my daughter at ease and felt both safe and fun.”
“Lorni also has a considerable knowledge of the body and of infant development, and one of the wonderful things about taking part in her classes was all of the fascinating information the she shared. I left each class understanding new things about what it might be like to experience the world from a baby's point of view.”
